The interiors of the 2022 Nissan Rogue look surprisingly plush for a car in this segment and mid-$20,000 price point. The cabin of the Rogue is well laid out; it looks quite upmarket. Nissan offers 8 different interior colors and trims to choose from and no other car in the segment offers such privilege. Jump onto the driver's seat and you'll see a rather large yet sporty flat-bottom heated steering wheel that is wrapped in leather. Behind the steering wheel, there's a 12" customizable digital gauge cluster which is pretty slick and displays all the necessary information. In the center of the dash, sits an 8'' floating touch screen infotainment system display. The infotainment screen is of good quality and is quite intuitive and easy to use.
The Rogue is also quite spacious on the inside and 5 adults can fit in quite comfortably in the car. The head, shoulder, and legroom at the front and the back are good, and even tall people will not have any problems fitting in whatsoever. At the front, you get heated seats, power-adjustable in 8 different positions. The zero-gravity front seats offer good support and are very snug. The front seats also have side bolsters on them as you would find on seats in a sports car and those bolsters just hold you firmly in place. You get fabric covers on the seats as standard with the base trim level but as you climb the trim levels you get high-quality leather-wrapped seats that feel much more upscale.
Features like Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are offered as standard along with AM/FM radio and Sirius XM radio. The top trim level of the Rogue gets a premium 10-speaker Bose audio system including a dual subwoofer which simply is the best in the segment. The lower trim levels get a 6-speaker audio system which is average and not all that really great.

The Rogue does really well when it comes to practicality as well. Along with a large boot, the Rogue also has lots of storage spaces on the inside. At the front, there are two cupholders in the center console and there's also a wireless mobile charging pad. There's also a small storage area below the floating center console and also below the front armrest. There's also a fairly normal-sized illuminated glove box at the front where you can store some other bits.
At the back, there's the center armrest that has cup holders to hold your drink and there's also a parcel shelf behind the seats. Behind the second row, the Rogue offers about 36.5 cubic feet of cargo area which is decent for a car in this segment. Fold the second row down and then you open up to about 73 cubic feet of cargo area which is pretty large and you can stuff in all that you want. On the whole, Nissan has nailed it when it comes to the interiors and this is easily one of the most opulent, practical, and feature-rich interiors in the segment. Interior features include:

The 2022 Nissan Rogue looks beefy and brawny on the outside, thanks to the redesign last year. Nissan, on the other hand, has adopted a rather simpler approach and the Rogue isn't all that curvaceous and it has a boxy shape and a truck-like appearance.
